We can blame how we were raised, society, others, and even ourselves for the reason why we are over weight and so out of shape.
 
Many of us go through life year after year in the same condition and can't seem to break free. If we could just somehow take charge of ourselves, we could change the effects that bad decisions have on both our body and our mind. (Ever feel tired and depressed what about anxious or angry? These are just a few symptoms of not taking care of ourselves.)
Taking Charge means:
Positive self talk- 95% of how we feel about ourselves depends on how we explain things to ourselves. It's not weird, everyone talks to themselves. You talk to yourself... But what are you saying? "I have a big family, so I guess I’ll always be too." "I'll never get that really good job." etc...
Sometimes
you have to encourage yourself.
 
Another wise man said “Let the weak say I am strong." When you talk- talk about what you do want, not what you feel you can’t have.
 Push and get beyond
 how you think
 about yourself.
Positive Visualization- Improving your Mental Pictures. What you see is what you get! Can you see yourself physically fit, having healthy habits, being financially blessed? All those things you really want.
It's all about what you see for yourself.
 
Positive People- I know you've heard this, it's not just what mom and dad taught us, and some how we've grown out of it, but who you associate with DOES effect what you see for yourself in life.
Find people!
 Family members, co-workers, ladies clubs, or groups, those who have the same new goals as you have and encourage and be accountable to each other. You can lean on each other when weaknesses come.
 
Positive Health Habits- Make the healthy goals you set for yourself a Habit! Put into practice what you learn. Taking a positive and putting it into practice and doing the right thing.
