Healthy Chewy Granola Bars
Ingredients:
4 cups Raisen Bran cereal, crushed
1 cup crisp rice cereal
1 cup quick oats
1/4 cup chopped almonds
2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup margarine
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350*.
Lightly grease bottom and sides of 9in. pan.
2. Combine Raisen bran, crisp rice, oats and almonds in a large
bowl, set aside.
3. Bring brown sugar, corn syrup and margarine to a boil in a
small sauce pan over medium-high heat, stiring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
4. Pour sugar mixture over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly
coated.
5. Press mixture in prepared pan.
6. Bake at 350* for 10 minutes.
7. Cool completely.
8. Cut into bars and Enjoy.
