New York Cheese Cake
Ingredients:
16oz. sour cream
16 oz. cottage cheese
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 stick real butter, melted
16 oz. sour cream
1. With a mixer cream the cream cheese. Rub cottage cheese
thru a fine strainer; beat in sugar gradually. Add eggs then
mix. Add lemon juice and vanilla.
2. In a cup, mix flour and cornstarch together and slowly add
to cheeze mixture.
3. Add melted butter and sour cream. Pour into buttered and
floured pan.
4. Bake at 325* for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
5. When done, turn off oven; leave in oven until cheesecake is
room temperature, then remove from pan.
Fruit topping:
1 can of fruit filling ( any flavor)
1-2 cup of the same fruit as filling ( cut up)
Mix fruit filling with chopped fruit then spread over cheese
cake.
