Glaze: To cover with a glossy coating, such as a melted and somewhat diluted jelly for fruit deserts.
Julienne: To cut vegetables, fruits, cheeses or potatoes into match-shaped slivers.
Marinate: To allow food to stand in a liquid in order to
tenderize od add flavor.
Meuni'ere: Dredged with flour and saute'ed in butter.
Minced:To chop food into very small pieces.
